About Cinephiles:Cinephiles is the premiere world-wide community of individuals who are passionate about cinema. Cinephiles is comprised of the following sections:
For selected films, Cinephiles provides three levels of understanding. The first is found in the Film Review, which may be accessed after selecting a film. The second level, Film Analysis, provides a focused analysis of the movie. Films in Perspective, the third level, offers a comparative view of certain aspects of the film with other films, and places it within the cinematic world. Please read our Mission Statement. Cinephiles also provides two kinds of discussion boards, where movie lovers may post their comments and initiate discussions with other film enthusiasts about any of the movies reviewed in Cinephiles, or about general topics. For the former, each particular film's discussion board may be accessed from the respective Film Review or the Board Topics page. For the latter, the General Discussion Board page may be accessed by clicking the Film Discussion button on this page. All film lovers can now sign up to obtain their free, permanent email address @cinephiles.net. We provide 6MB of disk space for your email boxes, and the ability to send and receive email (including attachments) from any computer in the world through a web browser interface. Your privacy is very important to us; please read our Privacy Statement. We also provide free hosting for our members' web pages. You can quickly create your own personal or business web site with an easy to remember domain name (yourname.cinephiles.net).
